Reporting a problem
Email support@appwand.dev with:
- What you did and what you expected, in a sentence or two.
- What happened instead. A screenshot helps a lot.
- Your AppWand version, from Help → About AppWand.
- For an AI result that went wrong: the project's
.appwand\ai-log.jsonlfile. It records each AI call's id, timing and outcome, but none of your code or prompts, so it's safe to send. - For a build or run error: the text from the terminal or the Check view.
Please never send passwords, your api\.env file or database dumps. We'll never ask for them.
Common questions
"flutter" or "node" is not found
AppWand runs the tools on your PATH. Install them, add them to PATH, then restart AppWand so it sees the change. flutter doctor shows what's missing.
The database won't connect
Check that the server is running and that the host, port, user and password are right. On PostgreSQL, the user needs rights to create tables in the database you picked.
The Check view shows errors after a change
Use Fix with AI on the page that owns them. You'll get a change to review, like any other. If a fix doesn't work, revise it with more detail about what the page should do.
My API port is already in use
Change it in App settings. AppWand updates the API and the app and restarts the API if it's running.
