Describe your app.
Get the full stack.
A Flutter app, a Node.js API and the database, in plain code you own. Describe the app in a few sentences, or connect the database you already have, and AppWand writes the complete app on your computer. No runtime, no lock-in.

Plain code on a stack you already trust
See AppWand build an app in about a minute
From one sentence to a Flutter app with its own API: the tables, the plan, the code for every page, the checks, the finished app and a deploy.
The demo video is on its way. In the meantime, the getting started guide walks through the same steps.
Connect your database. Get the complete app.
Point AppWand at your MySQL or PostgreSQL database. It reads your tables, their columns and the keys between them, then builds the whole app around them: the API, sign-in, and every page of a Flutter app.
- Your tables stay as they are. Nothing touches the database until you apply a change yourself.
- The complete app, not a starter: list, detail, form and dashboard pages, Sequelize models for every table, validation and roles.
- Generated on your computer, into two folders you own. Open them in VS Code the moment a page is written.
# 1. connect mysql://localhost:3306/shop # 2. AppWand reads the tables customers orders order_items products categories users # 3. the complete app, on your computer Documents/AppWand/Projects/shop/ ├─ api/ # models, routes, sign-in └─ app/ # 14 Flutter pages
From an idea to a running app in five steps
The bar across the top of AppWand is the whole journey. Each step leaves you with real files on disk, so you can stop, look and change anything.
Data
Describe the app and AppWand designs the tables, or connect a MySQL or PostgreSQL database you already have. You see the SQL before anything runs.
Plan & Design
It plans the pages, who can open each one, the menu, the look and the layout. Reorder, add or re-plan before a line of code is written.
Build
Every page is written in parallel: an Express route and a Flutter screen. Then you ask for changes and review each one as a diff.
Check
flutter analyze and an API load test run after every change. Problems are grouped by page, each with Fix with AI.
Deploy
Put the API in a sandbox at your-app.appwand.io in one click, with your data and HTTPS, and test the app against it from real devices.
An AI builder that hands you code, not a cage
There is no page designer to outgrow and no hidden runtime. AppWand writes the same code a good developer would, and then gets out of the way.
Every page is two files you can read
A page is an API route in api/src/routes/ and a Flutter feature in app/lib/features/. Select a page and you see both in a real code editor with Dart and JavaScript language servers. Edit them by hand, or ask the AI. The code on disk is always the source of truth.
Changes you review first
Ask for a feature and you get a diff, file by file. Untick what you don't want, ask for a revision, or accept.
Connect your database
Point AppWand at an existing MySQL or PostgreSQL database and get the complete app, built around your tables.
Sign-in and roles, built in
Hashed passwords, sessions and role-guarded routes and menus come with the base app. The sign-in screens are your code too.
Checked after every change
The Flutter analyzer and the API run after each edit. Errors land on the page that owns them, one click from a fix.
Sample data in one click
Realistic rows across related tables, with foreign keys that line up and sample accounts you can sign in with.
Ideas for every page
Ask a page what it could do next. You get feature and modernising ideas, and "Build it" turns one into a reviewed change.
Whole-app changes
"Add a users page for admins." AppWand plans the database step, the new pages and the edits, and you tick what runs.
Two folders. Open them anywhere.
AppWand generates the code on your computer, not in a hosted workspace. A project is an ordinary Flutter app and an ordinary Express API, side by side in your Documents folder. Open them in VS Code, push them to GitHub, hire someone to extend them. Nothing phones home.
- Flutter with Riverpod, go_router and dio. One codebase for Android, iOS, web, Windows and macOS.
- Express with Sequelize models generated from your tables and Zod validation on every input.
- Production basics included: compression, CORS, rate limits, file uploads and clear error messages.

Make it look like yours
Pick a brand colour and a logo, then try a style. Twelve looks, four navigation layouts and seven notification styles, all in light and dark. Switching rewrites one theme file, so your pages never break.
- Twelve styles from Material You to Brutalism, Soft UI, Claymorphism, Bento and Retro.
- Four layouts: sidebar, bottom tabs, top bar, or a menu that opens from the header.
- Light, dark or system, with a switch for your users on their account page.
Test your API online, in one click
localhost only reaches so far. AppWand checks your API, packs it with your database and starts it in a sandbox on its own HTTPS address, so you can test the real thing from a phone, a browser or a tester's laptop. No server to rent, no Docker, no DNS.
- Run the app against it. Start the app on your desktop, in Chrome or on Android pointed at the sandbox, or share the URL with your testers.
- Isolated per app. Each API gets its own container, network and database, with HTTPS from the start.
- Redeploy as you build. The new version passes a health check before the old one stops, and your test data stays: new tables and columns are added, nothing is dropped.
- MySQL or PostgreSQL, copied from your machine on the first deploy, with or without rows. Take it offline whenever you like.
The sandbox is for testing and demos, and each one is deleted after 30 days, with its database and files. For production, the API is plain Express code you can host on any server or cloud you choose: give AppWand its address and the release builds call it.

An AI token is counted when the model reads your request fresh or writes code. Repeated context it reads from cache is free. A first build of a 12 to 15 page app uses about 220,000 tokens, and a change to a page about 30,000. Paid plans are billed monthly through Paystack in Ghana cedis, at the amount shown under each price; a card in another currency is converted by its bank. Cancel any time from inside AppWand. Your code stays yours on every plan, even if you stop paying. Payments are not refunded: see the terms and the refund policy.
Good to know
Is the code really mine?
Yes. A project is a folder of ordinary Flutter and Node.js code on your own disk. There is no AppWand library inside the app and nothing it needs from us to run. Keep it, change it, or move on without us.
Do I need to know Flutter or Node.js?
Not to start. You can build a working app by describing it and asking for changes. Knowing the stack helps when you want to go further, and because the code is plain and well organised, it is also a good way to learn it.
Which databases does it work with?
MySQL and PostgreSQL. AppWand can design a new schema for you, or build an app on top of a database you already have.
Where do the apps run?
The generated app is Flutter, so it builds for Android, iOS, web, Windows, macOS and Linux. While you work, you can run it on your desktop, in Chrome or on an Android device, against your local API or the one in the sandbox.
What is the sandbox, and can I use it in production?
The sandbox is a place to test your API online: its own HTTPS address at your-app.appwand.io, its own database, and a container sized for testing and demos. Use it to try the app on real devices and to show it to testers or clients. A sandbox does not last: it is deleted after 30 days, with its database and uploaded files, so keep your own copy of anything you need. For production, host the API yourself: it is a standard Express app that runs on any Node.js server or cloud, and Build the app takes your server's address for the release builds.
What happens when I run out of AI tokens?
AI requests pause until your allowance resets on the 1st (Pro and Elite) or you upgrade. Everything else keeps working: your projects, the code editors, checks, runs and the sandbox. Free's tokens are a one-time starting allowance.
If I downgrade, do I lose my projects?
No. Projects you already have stay yours and keep opening. A lower plan only gives you less AI each month and fewer new sandbox APIs.
What do I need on my computer?
Windows 10 or 11, or a 64-bit Linux desktop (Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 36 or newer). Then the Flutter SDK, Node.js 20 or newer, and a MySQL or PostgreSQL server. The download page has the installation steps, and the getting started guide walks through the rest.
Will AppWand support other backends?
Yes, later. Today the API is Node.js with Express; more backends are planned. The app itself is Flutter, and that is where AppWand stays focused.
